By car:

By taxi:
Fares between the airport and city range from about CHF 30 to CHF 35 (€19-22) and depending on traffic conditions, time of day and number of passengers. Presently, the fare within Geneva, including airport, is the amount shown on the taximeter. The driver will request a small extra charge for luggage. Tip and VAT are included. Basic charge: CHF 6.30 (€4) + kilometre CHF 3.20 (€2).

Travelling to Geneva City Centre
Geneva city centre is very close to the Airport. It is easily accessible via train or bus using the united network of public transport Unireso. Only one single ticket is required to travel by train, tram, bus or boat in the area France-Vaud-Geneva.
Train is the easiest method of transport from the airport to Geneva city centre. The journey time is 8 minutes between the airport and Cornavin central station (every 15 minutes). All trains stop at Geneva-Cornavin (city centre). The Airport railway station has direct access to the Airport Departures/Arrivals levels.
The following urban buses stop at the airport (bus stops at the Departures level, in front of the train station):
- to Geneva city centre: bus 10 (every 10 minutes)
- to international organisations and the lake or to Meyrin: bus 28 (every 20 minutes)
- to Lancy: bus 18 (every 30 minutes)
Tourist information and public transport tickets are available at the Unireso information desk in the arrivals hall after customs. Tickets can also be purchased from ticket machines located at the stops (small change CHF or Euro required) and at the train station. A valid ticket must always be carried during the journey and must be presented in case of control. Ticketing machines accept the following forms of payment: Swiss and Euro coins, the CASH function of Swiss bankcards, cart@bonus (a chip card that contains bonuses and advantages). The cart@bonus can be bought at CFF, TPG and SMGN sales offices or from authorised agents (see list at stops).
