PRESIDENTIAL DINNER
Tuesday 16 September: 19:30-24:00 - Convento do Beato, Lisbon
Beato António’s Convent, once referred to by historians (who knew it in all its glory) as one of the largest, richest and most majestic convents ever seen all over the city of Lisbon. Its construction dates back to the 15th century. Visitors to the building today will see that the architectural façade still stands, although devoid of its original decoration. It is, however, an important architectonic example of fine stone-masonry craftsmanship, with an abundant use of colourful marble. In particular, the cloister, of great balance and harmony, and the stairway leading to the Convent, imposing and extremely original, are works of rare quality.
Admission by ticket only which should be purchased by completing the relevant section of the Registration Form.
Price: €80 per person (subject to availability).
